Yee-Haw!

Hello Blog Buddies!

As many of you know, if it is possible to have a theme at a party, ...I run with it!

The Divine Miss M is about to embark on a very exciting adventure in a foreign land
so her family wanted to have a proper farewell to
'send her on her way' with all our love and support.

So a Texas theme it was!

I made the table runner by sewing several bandanas I found at a local shop together.

The drinking jars I had purchased for a previous gathering.

The white tins were ones we used at our wedding. (It was lovely being able to use them again.)

The rustic, glitter jars were an Easter present made for us by Miss H.

I did have a fun time thinking up 'catchy names' for the guests...

... and all the extra decor was provided with (funnily enough) a school decor pack I had from the amazing Melanie at 'School Girl Style'. It was actually her 'woodlands' theme but I thought the 'critters' were very appropriate for the occasion.

You can find her full range of beautiful packs at her site here

After several hours of preparation, we were ready to go!

And then the hats came out! Giddy-up!

There was also a really cute 'Pocahontas'.

It did not take long for the 'props' to emerge...

... And a future make-up artist was revealed.

 We really laughed a lot!!

The menu was also 'in keeping' with the theme... Barbecue it was!

Finally, it was also another guest's birthday, so dessert was 'covered' with a delicious cake.

It really was a fun evening that we will always remember!

HAVE A GREAT TIME MISS M!!
